Jumping up and down.  Hugging.  Girly screams.  A few tears shed.  More hugs.  Fingers pointing to The Man Upstairs, with “Thank You!” mumbled under the breath.  And more hugs.

You might be conjuring up images of the US Women’s Olympic team clenching gold at the Summer games in Atlanta, The US Women’s soccer team winning the World cup, or the Team USA winning the World Softball tournament.  Okay, maybe not the softball one.  But clear your mind.  This story is about Andrew and Isaac, of team Motts, crossing the finish line at the 2009 Urban Assault Ride in Minneapolis.

Andrew and Isaac have never won anything.  Anything.  So after Isaac spit out the last bead and the volunteer at the finish line confirmed, “Okay.  You guys won the men’s division,” a slightly more dramatic than expected reaction occurred.  Followed by a slightly more than necessary mid-day bender.  But let’s back it up to see how the story unfolds.

Sweet hat Isaac. I applaud that, even with the crappy picture resolution. Plus the podium chicks are hot. Well done. High fives all around.
