I want to share with you an exciting project with which I am passionate and have had the opportunity to be involved with over the past few months.

What’s the skinny?

Over the past few months I’ve been working with Bikes Belong, a non-profit group comprised of national bicycle suppliers and retailers working to advance bicycling in America.

Bikes Belong provides community grants, promotes safe bicycling and lobbies Congress to maximize federal funding for bicycle transportation.

What’s the specific skinny?

Last night at the National Bike Summit in Washington D.C., Bikes Belong announced to the industry the soft launch of the peopleforbikes.org movement.

The goal of peopleforbikes.org is to unite a million voices of support, to make bicycling safer, more convenient and appealing for everyone – no matter what reason or how frequent you ride a bike.

So, why are you telling me this?

To make the largest impact during our official launch in April we need your support.

Go online and check out the website – www.peopleforbikes.org – and more importantly, sign up under “Join Us” to share your voice which shows your support for a better future for bicycling.
